Overview - CFSLIP Product Line
CFSLIP product family is the new next generation product line which is targeting
the growing demands for data transmission over microwave radio.
As a result the primary traffic interface for CFSLIP radio is Fast Ethernet. In
addition, CFSLIP is capable to deliver up to 4E1 interfaces for legacy connectivity
or any other use. As CFSLIP is capable to provide up to 108Mbps of bit rate to all
interfaces combined, it is a perfect addition to DTS BROADCAST portfolio. This
product family provides perfect solution for a user looking for higher than PDH
E3 capacity without need for STM-1 capacity. The excellent CFSLIP radio and
modem performance allows achieving perfect system capacity by employing 32-
level modulation scheme by user's choice. Apart from the full system capacity of 108Mbps, it is possible to configure theradio to any of 7 MHz, 14 MHz and 28MHz channel bandwidths as well as to any of QPSK, 16APSK and 32APSK modulations, thus providing various capacities to suit particular needs.
DTS Broadcast has employed most modern design solutions and components to
create high performance compact radio with low power consumption - 19-25W
per radio, thus we have a capability to feed the unit by using PoE (Power over
Ethernet). CFSLIP is a perfect building block for any modern future proof wireless network,
including mobile service providers, fixed data service operators, enterprise
customers, municipal and governmental networks among others.

Overview - CFMSL product line
The widespread and growing use of microwave radio equipment in modern voice
and data networks well deserves to be called a phenomenon of the last decade
of the 20th century and beginning of the 21th century. The reasons behind that
are numerous, like: increased demand for high data rate channels,
growing pressure on operators to shorten the deployment times,
the need to shorten time of the return on investments,
Changing demands for the services from the customers.
All of these issues are well solved using our wireless system CFMSL.
DTS Broadcast CFMSL is a safe and affordable wireless communications point-topoint
system operating over 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 23, 26, 32 or 38 GHz
frequency bands. It provides voice and data transmission in both urban and rural
areas covering up to 60 km distance between two sites. CFMSL is available with
4, 8, 16 and 34 Mbps data transmission rate. According to the needs of your
business, you may find it handy to use either CFMSL system's modular
equipment - radio (ODU) and interface block (IDU) installed separately - or Full
Outdoor Units (FODU) comprising IDU and ODU in one device. By choosing
CFMSL family products with appropriate interface you can build transmission
systems for voice (nxE1 or E3), data (Ethernet or V.35), as well as mixed
solutions for voice and data combination (E1, Ethernet or V.35). The CFMSL-MMUX
is a modular multi-rate software configurable Indoor Unit operating at
8/16/34Mbps rates. It can be equipped with E1, V.35 and 10/100Base-T Ethernet
interface modules. DTS Broadcast’s CFMSL-MP-MUX is a solution for 1+1
protected HSB/SD/FD installations. Its modular design allows installing various
traffic interfaces that operate at 8-34Mbps (software configurable).
CFMSL Full Outdoor Units have ultra compact "all in one" design comprising IDU
and ODU units in one device. The system is initially designed to provide 4 or 8
Mbps of traffic capacity implemented as 2xE1 or 4xE1 (G.703) channels. Full
Outdoor equipment is perfect for mobile operators and users who do not require
equipment located indoors. The last item in CFMSL Full Outdoor series is 34
Mbps Ethernet Full Outdoor Unit equipped with 10/100 Ethernet Port and
software configurable 2xE1 interfaces. Available capacity combinations are
30+2+2; 32+2; 34 Mbps.
DTS Broadcast CFMSL supports the following link configurations:
Non protected (1+0)
Protected Hot Standby (1+1)
Protected Hot Standby Space Diversity (1+1)
Protected Frequency Diversity (1+1)<

the radio suitable for short, midrange and long link installations;
Wide choice of Indoor Units offering fine tuned combinations of capacity
and interface combinations for specific applications. IDUs are providing E1, V.35
and 10, 10/100 Ethernet ports;
convenient and efficient management system provided through multiple
interfaces of the Indoor Unit, LCD display/keypad, RS-232 terminal port, Ethernet
port Radio is offered with comprehensive choice of adapted antennas - Lens-Horn -
25 cm, and parabolic - 30, 60, 120, 180, 240 and 300 cm. All antennas provide
capability to mount the radio directly on antenna without any accessories. The
change of radio capacity is performed via easy and convienent change of
capacity/interface specific Indoor Units.
INDOOR UNITS
8/16/34 Mbps 1+1
CFMSL-MP-MUX is a solution providing 1+1 HSB/SD/FD protection switching for
CFMSL radio installations. It is a software configurable four-slot indoor unit (IDU)
supporting 8/16/34Mbps rates and operating over all commercially-used
frequency bands. CFMSL-MP-MUX comprises a number of significant features:

1+1 IDU can be complemented with 5 interface modules, including 10/100Base-
T Ethernet Bridge module (single-port or two-port), 1xE1 module, 4xE1 module,
V.35 module. The typical 1+1 link installation consists of two CFMSL-MP-MUX
units, 4 LM Outdoor Units (ODU) and IDU-ODU interconnection cables.
The 1+1 Protection Switch IDU can be equipped with alarm port implemented on
DB-25 connector and providing 4 programmable alarm outputs and 4 user
inputs. The alarm outputs notify radio-related problems and power failures.
FULL OUTDOOR UNITS
34 Mbps Eth Full Outdoor Unit
34 Mbps Ethernet Full Outdoor Unit (FODU) have ultra compact "all in one"
design comprising IDU and ODU units in one device. The system is designed to
provide 34 Mbps of traffic capacity and supports two types of interfaces -
10/100Base-T Ethernet (30-34 Mbps) + up to 2xE1 software configurable
interface.
Combination of Indoor and Outdoor Units' functionality in a single device makes
CFMSL FODU very compact and convenient to use. there are two setup options
for installing the FODU radio system in the network:
1) Directly by connecting the 18-pin cable directly from FODU to the user's
equipment and splitting twisted pairs into E1, management 10Base-T Ethernet,
power and alarm signals;
2) Through the passive patch panel. The panel converts balanced E1 signal
coming from FODU to unbalanced, providing both, balanced 75Ohm E1 port with
BNC connector and unbalanced 120Ohm port with RJ-45 socket.
DTS Broadcast FODU can be connected to any DC power source with voltage
from 20 to 60V (survival 68V). 8 Mbps FODU require CAT 3 or better 8-pair
twisted cable (TP) to interconnect the unit with terminal equipment and
additional 4-pair CAT 5 or better UTP cable.

information gathered within user-defined period of time;
Provides the possibility to archive outdated events. The user can set time
and frequency of archiving procedure, and define event expiration settings;
Offers a user-friendly graphical interface for management of DTS
equipment.
DTS NMS periodically polls network elements, gathering data regarding the
current status of radiolink equipment:
Unit status (for example, - up, down, or marginal);
Unit configuration changes; 19 Equipment parameters (e.g., Rx level, IDU or ODU temperature, etc.). It is possible to configure thresholds for network elements’ parameters (for example, IDU temperature, Rx level, ODU temperature). DTS NMS generates
alarms and notifies you in case one or more parameters reach critical level.
